The Religious Trauma Treatment Model (RTTM) equips clinicians to address the unique impacts of religious trauma for clients who choose to stay in, leave, or reimagine their faith. This session introduces RTTM’s RECAPS domains to help clients regulate, clarify harmful beliefs, and restore safety and meaning after religious trauma.
Meet AnnIn this interview session with host Sharlee Dixon, Dr. Alisa Bahl will explore how Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) empowers parents to become the agents of change in their families. Designed for young children with behavioral challenges, PCIT combines attachment-building with behavior management, using real-time coaching and in-ear guidance to support meaningful parent-child interactions. Dr. Bahl will discuss how this adaptable, evidence-based model is used across diverse settings, including with children on the autism spectrum, those experiencing trauma, or families involved in court systems, and how it helps restore connection, reduce stress, and create lasting positive outcomes for both children and caregivers.
Meet AlisaIn this interactive session, participants will uncover the often-unseen beliefs that influence their thoughts, emotions, and actions. Through the Event-Thought-Outcome model, you will learn how to identify unhelpful thinking patterns and reframe them to create more intentional, effective outcomes, both personally and professionally.
Meet AndyBehavioral health providers often struggle to consistently implement effective overdose screening and safety planning. This workshop will explore how integrating these practices into electronic health records (EHRs) can improve clinical workflows, support decision-making, and enhance patient outcomes. Through real-world examples, we’ll highlight how EHR tools like decision support and care pathways can boost staff confidence, streamline care, and ultimately save lives.
Meet JorgeIn our final interview session, host Sharlee Dixon and Dr. Jeanne Michele will explore the emotional complexities of male infidelity and how vulnerability will serve as a key pathway to healing and growth. Drawing from her work with couples in crisis, Dr. Michele will unpack how gender-based conditioning often blocks emotional expression and meaningful communication, especially for men. Attendees will gain strategies to rebuild trust, foster honest dialogue, and navigate the shame, guilt, and self-worth questions that arise after betrayal. With an emphasis on curiosity, empathy, and individual growth, Dr. Michele will offer a hopeful, practical roadmap for turning rupture into repair, and building stronger, more connected relationships.
